Herdbook ("the app", herdbook.app) helps livestock farmers keep records of their animals, breeding, weights, health, and finances. This policy explains what data the app handles.

Information we collect

• Account: your email address, used only to sign you in and secure your data.
• Your farm records: the animal, milk, expense, breeding, health, and profile details you choose to enter, plus any photos you add.

How your data is stored

Your records are stored in a private, secured database (hosted on Supabase). Security rules ensure that only your logged-in account can read or write your data. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

How we use it

Solely to provide the app's features to you: showing your herd, calculating totals, and sending you reminders. We do not use your data for advertising.

Payments

If you subscribe to Herdbook Pro, payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Photos

Photos you attach to animals are stored with your records and shown only to you.

Data deletion

You can delete any record inside the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us and we will remove it.

Children

The app is intended for farm owners and is not directed at children under 13.
